Ran down to track then warmed up with Mike. Went out and did an easy run with 10 steady, watch was acting weird saying it was 7:00 pace but 7:30s are near my easy, didn't connect to GPS lol.

Guesstimate around 6:00 pace since it was more laid back than the usual sub 6 and not too taxing.

Then caught up to Mike after and ran back, did abs. Good run.

not sure if all your training is laid out already, but when i was in high school i found that 8x300 at about 800m pace is a great workout to really get you in shape for the event. one saturday early in the season when we didn't have a meet i rounded up the other guys in the event on my team that cared enough to work out on a saturday to do it and we all dropped pretty big PRs that season.
